Laura Linney is an American actor who has become well-known for her performance of vulnerable but strong characters. In the summer, while working in her father's company Laura Linney fell in love with the theatre. After that, at Brown University she studied acting and also at Juilliard School, after which the career of her choice took off. She began her Broadway career soon after completing her degree after which she made her debut on television the following year. She has appeared on numerous stages, films and television shows since that time. In her professional career, she has won many awards, including two Golden Globe Awards. Though she was awarded numerous prizes over the years, theater is always her main passion.
