Eve Maughan (born in London England) is the daughter of actresses Trevor Eve and Sharon Maughan. Her brothers are Jack as well as George and was raised in the United Kingdom and Los Angeles United States. Her education was at Bedales School then Westminster School London to complete their A Levels. The gap year in her studies, she went to the Beverly Hills Playhouse. Later on, St Catherine's College Oxford offered English as an option. In Oxford, Eve appeared in several student productions including An Ideal Husband Animal Crackers which played in the Edinburgh Fringe Festival Scenes from an Execution as well as The Colour of Justice. Eve is a regular in BBC dramas like The Rotters Club Poirot & Hawking and 2004's movie Stage Beauty. Eve played important roles in two films from the year 2006, Starter for 10 & Big Nothing. Both she and Co-Star Simon Pegg used American accents. Eve devoted a substantial portion of the first half of 2006 working in India for a drama show known as Losing Gemma. Eve was involved in two plays directed by Trevor Nunn. She performed at The Royal Court Theatre in 2006 in Rock n Roll, a Tom Stoppard play. In 2007 she re-enacted the part. She was born to an Indo British of British descendant Anthony Mitra & an Irish born mother Nora Downey. English actor Guyan Mitra is one of the three siblings, including an older sibling Jason Mitra. Her younger sister is a well-known travel journalist Her work is featured as a part of Lonely Planet.
